DONNA MARIE GUDGEON FdA, BSc(Hons), MA

Donna is the founder of every step Counts SEND services and managing director. With over 20 years in education, including 15+ years specialising in SEND and 12 years in senior leadership and management, Donna brings a depth of expertise that bridges operational delivery and strategic development.

Donna Holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood and Education, Leadership and Management as well as numerous other qualifications including a bachelors of science degree in Early Childhood Studies, NCFE OFQUAL REGULATED Level 3 Award for Special educational needs coordinators in Early Years Settings (EYSENCO). Donna is also Paediatric First Aid trained and a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).

Donna's professional background includes extensive experience in SEND assessments, EHCP processes, SEND administration, SENCO leadership, staff mentoring, and quality improvement within early years settings.
